To reach the hotel …
By car:
From the North: Leave at Junction 40 of the M6, and take the second exit off the roundabout. You will join a short dual carriageway and will end up at another roundabout, join the A66 towards Brough (third exit), take the Appleby turn-off, turn right immediately (signposted Appleby Manor), follow road for half mile, pass through an under-pass, follow the road round to the left and the hotel is about 1/4 mile past the under-pass on the right.
From the East: Leave the A1 at Scotch Corner, follow A66 towards Penrith, take the Appleby turn-off, follow the road for 2/3 mile, first right, second left (just before you go under an old railway bridge), follow road for 1/4 mile and the hotel is on the left.
From the South: M6 Junction 38, take the B6260 to Appleby, drive through the town, over the bridge and turn left. Then take the first right and follow the road for roughly 2/3 mile until you come to a junction with an underpass to the left (underpass is about 1/4 mile past the primary school, at then end of a very narrow piece of road). Once here, go right, heading away from the underpass and the hotel is about 1/4 mile up the road on the right.
There is ample free car parking near the hotel front door available on a first come first served basis.
