Walk the Jersey Tidal Trail

If you are a fan of varied coastal paths and wild and rugged cliff top walking, Jersey and the Jersey Tidal Trail could be just for you. With an abundance of wildlife and flora this makes for a wonderful island coastal walk.

The Jersey Tidal Trail is a relatively easy and accessible walk, that sits within our Classic Collection. This route is graded as moderate, as it is mainly walking on existing pathways, bridleways and some minor roads. Beach walking is an option depending on the tides. That said there will be a number of ascents and descents - most noticeably in the north of the island.

Jersey can be visited throughout the year but is especially good between the beginning of April and early October. Summer can be hot in the Channel Island, and visitor numbers increase, especially over the school holidays. We love to walk here during the spring and autumn shoulder seasons, when the temperatures are pleasant and there are fewer visitors.

To tackle the Jersey Tidal Trail you will need comfortable walking shoes or hiking boots, a range of clothes for warm and cooler conditions, a waterproof jacket (just in case), sunscreen and a water bottle, and a day pack for carrying your things.

a. The Competition is open to UK-based travel agents and travel industry professionals only. Proof of eligibility may be required.

b. Entrants must be at least 18 years old and legal residents of the United Kingdom at the time of entry.

c. The Competition is not open to employees of the Promoter (Visit Jersey Limited), their immediate families, agents, or anyone professionally connected with the promotion.

d. Only one entry per person, per email address is permitted.

e. Entries from third parties, bulk entries, automated entries, or entries generated by scripts will not be accepted.

a. The Competition opens on Thursday 04 September 2025 and closes at 23:59 (GMT) on Thursday 25 September 2025 (the “Promotional Period”). Entries received outside of this timeframe will not be accepted.

b. To enter the competition:

I. Register on jerseyspecialist.com and complete the new Jersey Tidal Trail training module.

II. By submitting an entry, entrants agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions.

a. The main competition prize consists of:

I. A Tidal Trail voucher to the value of £400, redeemable towards the cost of a Jersey Tidal Trail holiday courtesy of Ramble Worldwide.

II .Return Blue Islands flights for two from any relevant UK airport to Jersey, including standard cabin baggage allowance.

III. A Visit Jersey Welcome Pack on arrival, including two Visit Jersey Island passes, giving free entry into a range of Jerseys Attractions.

b. The prize is redeemable until 23:59 (GMT) on Monday 22 December 2025, subject to availability.

I. Flights must be booked via Blue Islands customer care team. Winner and +1 must travel together.

II. Voucher must be redeemed by contacting Ramble Worldwide via phone or email and quoting the voucher code provided.

c. The prize must be taken between before Friday 31 July 2026.

I. Flights and accommodation are subject to availability at the time of booking.

d. The prize is non-exchangeable, non-transferable, and no cash alternative will be offered.

a. The winner and their guest are responsible for ensuring they hold valid passports and any necessary travel documentation.

b. In the event of a flight delay or cancellation, the prize winner’s tickets are exempt from Flight Compensation Regulation EU261/04 (article 3.3).

c. All standard Blue Islands Terms and Conditions apply.

d. All standard Ramble Worldwide Terms and Conditions apply.

e. The winner and their guest are responsible for any additional costs incurred, including but not limited to meals, drinks, travel insurance, and personal expenses.

a. The winner will be randomly selected from all eligible entries.

b. The winner will be notified by email within five (5) working days of the competition closing date.

c. The winner must claim their prize within three (3) working days of being contacted. If the winner fails to respond within this timeframe, the Promoter reserves the right to select an alternative winner.

d. The winner’s name and country will be available upon request (with express consent) for 28 days after the closing date by writing to Visit Jersey, 3rd Floor, Commercial House, 3 Commercial Street, St Helier, Jersey, JE2 3RU, enclosing a stamped SAE.

a. Entrants may be invited to participate in publicity related to the Competition but are under no obligation to do so.

b. By entering the Competition, entrants consent to the collection and processing of their personal data for the purpose of administering the prize draw. Personal data will be processed in accordance with Visit Jersey’s Privacy Policy.

a. The Promoter reserves the right to amend or cancel the Competition and these Terms and Conditions without notice in the event of:

I. Force Majeure (including but not limited to war, civil disturbance, pandemic, epidemic, government action, or any other event beyond the Promoter’s control).

b. Any changes to the Competition will be communicated as soon as possible.

c. The Promoter’s decision regarding all aspects of the Competition is final and binding, and no correspondence will be entered into.

a. These Terms and Conditions shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of Jersey.

b. Any disputes arising in connection with the Competition shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Jersey.
